An upright, medium sized, deciduous shrub with lime-yellow leaves and small, single flowers that have reddish-purple petals and short cerise sepals and tube.
full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained, fertile soil.
Soak before planting and keep moist until established.
Prune in mid spring to encourage better flowering. Avoid winter pruning as this may lead to frost damage of new shoots.
