A medium-sized, deciduous shrub with bright coral red bark, dark green leaves, and creamy-white flowers in May and June, followed by bluish-white berries. Leaves turn reddish in autumn.

Suitable for full sun or partial shade in most well-drained soil.

Prune back hard in late winter or early spring to encourage vigourous regrowth
